Updates to the Virus bot firmware have allowed our engineers to re-purpose virus bot modules into a basic electronic misdirection system mounted on aircraft.

The EW pod is able to confuse hostile sensors. At a distance it is able to mask the type of your units and cause low flying aircraft to be more easily lost in RADAR ground clutter.

When an aircraft equipped with an EW pod is in range of hostile camera or RADAR equipped units visual type identification will be spoofed.

Causing hostile camera and RADAR software to mis-identify unit types, Barges may be shown as Needlefish, Mantas as Albatross, Petrels as Razorbills etc. It remains to be seen if this update is able to mask Carriers or Swordfish from firm identification. Further field reports are required.
