Holomap Markers Fixed

A very very long time ago I added the power for the holomap screen to add “markers” to the map. These worked about 70% of the time, but other times they would flicker in/out of existence weirdly so it has never really been a dependable feature until it had been fixed.

Now that this actually works without the horrible flickering problem, I’ve now made it so that markers are visible to players controlling units in first person view.

Feel Carrier Damage

We’ve all been there, we’re in an aircraft or tank or barge, enjoying the scenery, clearing an island of pesky red units and meanwhile our carrier has beached itself or has been torpedoed. The first we realize of this is when we exit our HUD screen or try to order main gun weapons only to get the ‘DAMAGED’ message.

Now, when the carrier takes a significant chunk of damage you will be notified on screen. If it takes a BIG hit, you’ll literally be shaken in your seat.
