What next?

I have a number of mod ideas for Revolution, and perhaps some stand-alone stuff. I should be able to start work on them more fairly soon.

But what?

Some that I have in mind so far:

  • Free-form carrier names
    • Input your own carrier name before launch
  • CC1 style communications range
    • aircraft and ground units have a max operational range from the carrier, beyond that they follow their next waypoints unless they come back in range
    • could have “comms boosters” modules fitted to some units
    • islands, needlefish and barges could act as relays
  • Automated repair system (stand alone mod)
    • When your carrier is idle or not using max power auto repair damaged systems
  • Any more?
