I’ve done one last “quality” pass on Rev 1.5.

Revolution 1.5 Beta

So here is the full list changes that are in Rev 1.5, in no particular order.

New features
  • Guided and Cruise missile camera control shows a CCIP area for the surface impact position.
  • Carrier helm station gets a basic HUD showing nearby island names and distances and the next carrier waypoint.
  • Razorbills may now carry a centre mounted fuel tank
  • Added silly advertising banners enabled when used with the “Tacops + Ads” mod.
  • Ground turrets are no longer “static” they can be moved to new locations (or pushed off cliffs) slowly by pushing with a ground unit.
  • Control screens can now set barge movement waypoints (previously only the logistics terminals could do this)
  • Various CPU usage improvements aimed at reducing latency
  • Aircraft HUD ladder can be toggled on/off by double-tapping the map display
  • Aircraft 20mm gun shows a larger “lead” indicator for locked targets.
  • Aircraft can now carry an EW pod – created by sacrificing a virus bot
    • EW pod will confuse hostile sensors, showing your air units as different types:
      • carrier -> barge
      • barge -> needlefish
      • manta -> albatross
      • petrel -> razorbill
    • EW interference is now detected and alert displayed on the control screen
    • EW masked aircraft do not need to fly quite as low as normal to be below most RADARs (fly under 70)
    • The carrier holomap and unit AWACS screen is unaffected by EW due to it’s multi-modal optronic stochastic input filters.
    • EW effects only apply to aircraft NEAR the EW aircraft, not the EW unit itself.
  • Low flying aircraft within 2.5km of a carrier are visible if the carrier RADAR is working, if the unit has previously been ‘tagged’ or there is a friendly RADAR within range
  • Added various internal debug/profiling tools
  • Added support for “Mule mk2 mod”
  • Control screen altitude edit button decrements in 10m steps below 100m
Bugfixes
  • Bridge cruise missile ammo counter display fixed
  • Bridge laser missile ammo counter display fixed
  • Various spectator mode fixes
    • Can now set waypoint altitudes
  • Fixed hostile aircraft below 50m shown on helm screens
  • Fixed a bug where aircraft would be masked from radar under 200m in very deep waters
  • Fixed occasional flickering of “last known” position marks
